Laya Raki began her career as a dancer in German night clubs in the late 1940s. and soon her charisma landed her small parts in German movies. Lured by the call of bigger productions, Laya left for England and eventually found good sized parts in TV shows. All the while she kept modeling for postcards, appearing in magazines, and pin-up photographs.
