Dutch actress Sylvia Kristel. Her film career is interlinked with the 1970s and 80s “Emmanuelle” erotic movies; their notoriety and popularity limited what other screen roles Sylvia could get. She was able to parlay her “Emmanuelle” fame to be cast in American movies during the early 1980s teen sex comedy era, such as playing an amorous teacher in “Private School”, or a tutor in “Private Lessons”, but that typecasting was hard to break with casting agents.
